Our Story
In 2019 we were founded as a financial NLP research team. We spent our first year working on adapting open source language models and state-of-the-art natural language processing techniques to the complex and underserved area of financial text and corporate disclosure. That year of research formed the basis for our forensic equity research product which we launched in April 2021.
Our mission is to address information overload in capital markets. Most of the “data” available to corporate stakeholders is in the form of unstructured text.
In an age of bloated disclosure requirements, It is untenable for a human being to read, understand and act on all of this information.
Through improving accessibility and understandability of impactful financial text, we hope to increase corporate accountability, improving both market efficiency and fairness.
